Scott Gray was 18 years old when he discovered God’s calling for him to teach the Word of God. From that point on, Scott has pursued opportunities to walk out that calling in his life. In 1999, God began to expand Scott’s vision to an area he had never contemplated before . . . starting a church. The church he envisioned would emphasize: discipleship instead of converts, the importance of the family, and the WORD of God – taught free of man’s opinion, even if it meant going against widely accepted religious doctrines. The reality of Hope of Glory Family Church (HOPEChurch) was placed huge inside Scott’s heart in 1999, but the manifestation of that reality has slowly been realized. He is blessed to see where HOPEChurch is today and excited about its future.
Scott has served in various areas of ministry for over 30 years, and has worked in the banking industry for 22 years. He has been married to Shirlene for 24 years and together they have four children. One of Scott’s favorite scriptures is 2 Peter 1:3 – “seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.”
