Dr. Gary R. Price accepted the call of preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of 21. For 20 years he was the pastor of Word of Faith Worship Center, Concord, NC. In 1995, Dr. Price founded a school of ministry, Life Christian University – Concord Campus.

From 1981 until 2012 Dr. Price ministered via radio and television. He was responsible for hosting, programing and arranging for guests on a broadcast that aired once a week, from 1997 until 2009, as a church ministry called “The Message of Victory”. Dr. Price was Station Manager and part owner of WRKB Radio station from 1988 until 1992.

Dr. Price’s theme verse was First John 5:4b: “This is the Victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”. It was this verse he leaned upon during the years 2006 through 2021. Gary was determined to not let a diagnosis of stage 4 brain tumor thatwas surgically removed in November of that year hinder his desire to preach the Word of God. He continued to preach when he had the occasion to do so during those years. On May 30, 2021, Pastor Gary passed into his next phase of glorious living.

Dr. Price was married to his wife, Jeanie, for 45+ years. They had three sons, seven grandsons, two great grandsons, and two great grand-daughters.
